After cooperating with the New York Christian Justice Alliance to hold a street education photos exhibition for more than a year, the New York NGO organization ” Women’s Rights in China”(WRIC) independently established a new round of long-term street activity projects to be launched in May 2024, namely in the Chinese community in New York. Dozens of pictures and text display boards – “Records of the CCP’s Massacre of Civilians Atrocities Over the Years” — are displayed in the downtown area of Flushing NY, as well as display boards supported women in prison who were politically persecuted.

Since April 24, the New York-based NGO Women’s Rights in China (WRIC) has independently set up a long-term street activity project, namely, in the downtown area of Flushing, where there is a Chinese community in New York, it exhibited dozens of pictures and texts titled “Record of The CCP’s Atrocities of Massacring Civilians Throughout the Years” and supported women in prison who were politically persecuted.

The pictorial exhibition “Record of The CCP’s Atrocities” is set up in sidewalk of the Main Street Flushing Library building. It consists of 21 display boards, each 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. The exhibition starts with the “Land Reform Movement” in 1949 after the establishment of the CCP and includes 21 major political movements up until the suppression of the 2019 Hong Kong “Anti-Extradition Law Amendment” protests. Each board lists the name, time, location, number of victims, and death toll of each political movement, accompanied by historical photos that vividly illustrate the CCP’s brutal persecution of the Chinese people over the years. Additionally, there are 15 boards featuring female rights activists and political dissenters who are either still in prison or recently released. Examples include He Fangmei and her husband, who were imprisoned for seeking justice for their daughter disabled by a toxic vaccine in 2018, and whose three children were long-term confined in a psychiatric hospital (details at: https://wrchina.https://crchina.live-website.com/wric-protests-detention-and-disappearance-of-he- fangmeis-daughterso); former chairperson of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, Chow Hang-tung, who was charged with multiple crimes against national security in 2019 (details at: https://crchina.live-website.com/international-womens-day-salute-to-hk-female-political-prisoners/ ); and Chinese women’s rights defender Huang Xueqin (details at: https://crchina.live-website.com/who-is-huang-xueqin/https://wrchina.org/archives/16878).
