Volunteers of WRIC Donate Clothing to Girls in a Nunnery

Translator by  Sandra Lam

On December 2, 2012, volunteers from Women’s Rights in China collected used clothes and then brought the first of twelve bags to a nunnery in Susong county in the city of Anqing. They were preparing to give out these clothes to every girl living in nunneries of  the Susong, Taihu, and Qianshan counties. Every spring and fall, volunteers spontaneously get their family members, friends, and each other to donate clothing they can’t don’t wear anymore. Then the clothes are given to the orphaned girls in Susong, and they are doing it for the first time in Taihu and Tianshan as well.
